With the rouble collapsing in international value, the dollar’s value increasing and this morning the Russian stock exchange closing due to crashing prices, there’s bound to be fewer Russians in the market over the next wee while.
Already today, I’ve seen one sale to a Russian buyer disappear, only two days before they were due to sign at the notary. With fewer big-money buyers, and many lower down the financial scale as well, any competition that was beginning to appear is likely to be severely diluted and it could turn things back to a buyers’ market. Life is never simple!
