Many Thanks to Campbell and team for providing the required peace of mind to pursue the purchase of an apartment in Estepona. We were told in advance that surveys are not typically needed for apartments but considering the capital outlay we decided to ignore this advice and commission Survey Spain to do a full survey of the unit in July 2024.
Louise handled the front office discussions; setup the viewing appointment with the seller and successfully navigated some timing constraints. The surveyor completed the survey in a morning and provided a "heads up" report within about 24 hours. This provided the peace of mind that we could proceed with the purchase. The detailed report arrived three days later and provided commentary, photographs and recommended remediation for the snag items noted. We were able to work with the seller to gain further information on the snags and decide on the best means to address. More importantly, the report confirmed that there were no major problems with construction, plumbing or utilities. The full report also provided a unexpected wealth of information on local planning and property laws, taxation, size comparisons and general advice to new homeowners in the area.
The full report exceeded our expectations with regard to content and professionalism of the layout. We followed up with a number of clarifications to Campbell and he responded very promptly and thoroughly. There were no negatives at all. How often does that happen?

We needed a survey on two properties in the Ronda / Arriate area. Our agent referred us to Survey Spain and we requested them to carry out a full building survey. The service and communication have been excellent from first contact to the delivery of the survey report.
