According to a legal advice answer in SUR in English, if your Community becomes insolvent, contractors and utility suppliers, legally owned money, can take out personal claims against the individual owners. And which ones will they chose?
The ones who are continuing to pay into the Community of course as they are likely to be solvent. So, attend your Community meetings, make contact with the Committee and the Administrators and help in all ways possible to get everybody paying what they should. Promises of money in the future from debtors, when they sell their properties, are no use.
If their mortgage debt is higher than the money owed, the bank’s going to seize it all. And anyway, are you the payer still going to be a member of the community when that happens?
