The End of Seasonal Clock Changes: Key Considerations for Businesses in 2025
Here’s something to think about. Good idea or bad? How will it affect your and other businesses?
It’s been announced in the BOE that this year will be the last year that winter/summertime changes will happen in Spain. From next year summertime will continue all year.
It will mean that mornings will be darker in winter, but the evenings will continue to be lighter.
That will complicate the time calculations between other countries in the EU who have not decided to do the same. In addition, the UK, Portugal and the Canary Islands will be even more different for half a year.
The decision will be reviewed in 2026.
